What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer focused on Windows to join our cloud development team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll design and maintain Windows-based systems in diverse environments. You'll handle both project-based work and ongoing managed services, requiring technical expertise and strong client communication skills. You take ownership of your work, are a great communicator, and thrive in environments with changing requirements. Our team includes network architects, cloud architects, software developers, and security engineers. You will have the chance to gain significant real-world experience and work on high-impact projects. We also provide many opportunities for growth and will cover costs of relevant education and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows systems across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Implement and optimize VDI solutions (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces)
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and federation services
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure
  • Create and deploy Windows images
  • Manage MDM solutions, focusing on Microsoft Intune
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline administration tasks
  • Provide technical leadership and clear client communication

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this job will have experience with the following technologies:

  • 7+ years of Windows system administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services
  • Proficiency in VDI technologies
  • Experience with Windows image creation and deployment
  • Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
  • Relevant certifications (MCSE, CCNA, AWS/Azure)
  • Familiarity with containerization and DevOps practices
  • Basic Linux administration skills
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot and modern device management
  • Background in professional or managed services environments

This is a full-time position with a generous benefits package and a quarterly performance bonus. Pay for this position will be commensurate with experience. Due to regulatory requirements, only candidates located in the US will be considered for this position.
